Welcome to knowonder!, home of the Story-A-Day initiative!
We currently have four print collections of 30 short stories each so you and your kids have a new story every single day of the month. Now we are expanding our reading content to include chapter books!
We can’t wait to receive your submissions, so please send them our way. Click here to submit a chapter book to us. (Note: we currently use the submishmash submission process, so please know that you will need to create an account with them. But don’t worry, it’s quick and painless, and once you’ve done it, you’ll be able to use that account to submit work to lots of other great publishers, too).
Before submitting, however, we ask that you please do these two things:
1. Read through our legal agreement. By submitting to us, you acknowledge that you have read and accept our legal terms and agreement.
2. Read our submission guidelines! We have accepted a lot of different stories in the past, but we are narrowing our focus and want you to have the best chances possible of getting your stories published. So please read these guidelines before submitting to make sure you’re sending us something we really want to see.
Pay:
Chapter Books: We offer a royalty sharing program that is competitive with industry standards.
Fiction: We pay $25-50 per fiction short story.
Articles: We are currently looking for volunteers to help us build out this section (fun facts). Please see the submission guidelines for more information on what we are looking for in this category.

Kid Stories: We do not pay anything upfront for Kid Stories or Kid Art, however, we hold a monthly contest and award kids with great prizes each month!
